Herein is yet more confirmation of the fact, that:
If we want to start treating our Carbon Dioxide more as a valuable resource - - rather than as some sort of dangerous pollutant we must, through taxation disguised as something called Cap & Trade, or, through indentured servitude to Big Oil labeled as mandated Geologic Sequestration, somehow economically enslave and parasitize our vital and productive Coal-use industries, and the people who depend upon them, somehow bring under control - - then all we need to do that is, basically, more Coal.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to providing a method of producing synthetic fuels and organic chemicals from atmospheric carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide gas is extracted from the atmosphere, hydrogen gas is obtained by splitting water, a mixture of the carbon dioxide gas and the hydrogen gas (synthesis gas) is generated, and the synthesis gas is converted into synthetic fuels and/or organic products"; and:

We treat several interrelated issues concerning the conversion of Coal into liquid hydrocarbon fuels in this dispatch.
First, as we have earlier discussed, an extensive, truly extensive, body of documentation exists which describes and explains how "synthesis gas", or, "syngas", a blend of, primarily, Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen, can be processed and catalyzed, and be made thereby to form virtually any variety of hydrocarbon, whether liquid or gas.

Roughly a year ago, we began alerting you to a United States Department of Energy Research and Development program, undertaken by their western US National Laboratories, which is known as "Green Freedom" (TM), and, wherein environmental energy, most often posited to be sunlight, is harnessed to collect Carbon Dioxide from the atmosphere itself, and then to convert that CO2 into liquid hydrocarbon fuels.
Last October, in fact, we sent you the dispatch, with the same link and attached file, we enclose with, and append to, these new opening comments.

In many previous reports, we've documented that Coal can be converted into a synthesis gas, or "syngas", consisting primarily of Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen, and well-suited for catalytic condensation into liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons, through gasification with both Oxygen and Steam, H2O; which H2O supplies the necessary Hydrogen.
