When you join WVCA, you're not just becoming a member – you're joining a community dedicated to West Virginia's coal heritage and future prosperity.

General / Producing Membership

Assessed at $0.02 per ton of coal mined in West Virginia with the minimum dues at $1500 and maximum dues at $200,000. Please attach your tonnage and Operations/Mines in WV.

Associate Membership

Open to businesses, LLCs, or corporations that support or provide goods and services to West Virginia’s coal industry. Dues are 0.001 per dollar of gross income from coal-related business in WV, with a minimum of $1,500 and a maximum of $20,000 annually.

Threshold Membership

Recognizes members—producing or non-producing—who contribute at least $20,000 per year. Threshold Members earn a seat on the Board of Directors. Contributions can be solely dues or a combination of dues and donations.
