Serves as Chief Executive Officer of Eagle Summit Resources and is a member of the company’s Board of Advisors. A University of Kentucky graduate in Mining Engineering, he has held senior and executive leadership roles throughout the coal industry, including with Leeco, Arch Coal, Magnum Coal, Patriot Coal, Blackhawk Mining, and ArcelorMittal Mining Operations.

Assistant Secretary, U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Electricity

Leads the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Electricity, overseeing programs focused on strengthening and modernizing America’s power grid. She brings more than 30 years of experience across the energy, water, and manufacturing industries, including prior service with DOE’s Office of Electricity and leadership roles at EPRI.

President and CEO of the National Mining Association and has decades of experience in government affairs and advocacy across natural resources industries. He previously served NMA as Senior Vice President of Government and Political Affairs and has held leadership roles spanning mining and broader industrial policy issues.

U.S. Senator, West Virginia

A lifelong West Virginian and former Governor of West Virginia. Before entering public service, he built and led major West Virginia-based business operations in agriculture, coal, and hospitality, including leadership roles connected to Bluestone and the revitalization of The Greenbrier. He now serves as West Virginia’s U.S. Senator.

U.S. Representative, West Virginia’s 2nd District

Represents West Virginia’s Second Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives and took the oath of office on January 3, 2025. He previously served in West Virginia state government, including as State Treasurer, and is currently assigned to the House Committee on Appropriations.

Secretary Kris Warner

Secretary of State, West Virginia

West Virginia’s 31st Secretary of State. A sixth-generation West Virginian from Charleston, he was elected in November 2024 and serves as the state’s Chief Elections Officer and Chief Business Registration & Licensing Official. Warner previously led USDA Rural Development in West Virginia (overseeing more than $1.2 billion in investments, per his official bio) and later served as Executive Director of the West Virginia Economic Development Authority.
