We will, in coming days, provide some technical detail concerning the Carbon Dioxide recycling technology, as being developed by the United States Department of Energy, which we begin to document, via the enclosed link and attached file, herein.
What we find notable in this report is the revelation that a famous scion of the Texas oil industry was aware, and extolled the virtues, of the "Syntrolysis" process, now being refined by the USDOE's Idaho National Laboratory, as indicated following:
"America is on the verge of technological breakthroughs that will enable us to live our lives less dependent on oil. These technologies will help us become better stewards of the environment - and they will help us to confront the serious challenge of global climate change." - President George W. Bush; State of the Union Address; January 22, 2007."

We continue to prosecute our thesis that Coal can be efficiently liquefied and converted into direct replacements for the fuels we now derive from petroleum, via dissolution and hydrogenation in primary, and long-known, Coal oils, with yet another example of such technology from Mobil Oil Corporation, prior to their merger with Exxon.
Some advance excerpts from the main body of the full Disclosure serve to emphasize the key facts:
"It is a main object of this invention ... to convert coal into a denitrified synthetic crude oil (and to) upgrade the resultant liquid product for application as premium gasoline stock."

In a previous dispatch, posted August 16 of this year, we reported on: "US Patent 2,522, 468 - Production of Synthesis Gas; September, 1950; Assignee: Standard Oil Development Company, DE", wherein it was seen that, more than half a century ago, the US petroleum industry, as confirmed by our US Government technical experts, had devised a process for, as they put it: "continuously forming a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen ... suitably proportioned for use as a feed-gas in the synthesis of hydrocarbons ... which consists essentially (of reacting together) ... a mixture of methane, steam and carbon dioxide".
We note, again, that Standard Oil scientists would, by 1950, have been well-aware of the fact that the 1912 Nobel Prize was awarded to Paul Sabatier, for demonstrating that Methane could itself be synthesized from Carbon Dioxide.
And, they would also have known that Methane can, as well, be synthesized by the Steam-gasification of Coal, as was widely practiced, as we've documented, by numerous municipalities in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, to produce what was commonly known as "Town Gas".

We wont attempt recounting the sequence of events that resulted in the rights to the invention we report herein, if the patent hasn't by now expired, likely being owned by Venezuela.
But, if you do a little digging we're confident you will find that to be the case. And, you will discover that
T. Boone Pickens, apparently, kicked the things that led to the transfer into motion back in 1982, shortly before the enclosed United States Patent, for a sophisticated two-stage process, wherein Coal, or their preferred "carbonaceous material", is hydrogenated and gasified by Steam to form some very interesting products, was awarded.

As many of our earlier reports have documented, our United States Government, as embodied in the Department of Energy, the Patent and Trademark Office and the Department of Defense, and in other of it's offices and bureaus, actually knows quite a lot about the very real, very practical technologies which exist that would enable us to begin converting our abundant Coal, and allied, Carbon-recycling resources, into the liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons we are now crippled by reliance on the international petroleum industry, and it's alliance of OPEC governments and Big Oil corporations, for the supply of.
Herein, we see that our National Energy Technology Laboratories have compiled a somewhat extensive, though, as evidenced by the many records we've provided to the West Virginia Coal Association, still incomplete, file on the Carbon conversion technologies that we do have available to us, and which we should have long ago begun reducing to wide, and public, practice.
They drolly refer to their publicly-available body of knowledge as the "Gasification Gasifipedia", and the link we've enclosed above should take you to it.
