The 20th CEDAR Regional Coal Fair will be held on April 9th – 12th at the University of Pikeville Gym. Tuesday, April 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. will be the Open House/Tour where you can view an expected 475 student projects about coal.

Dan Pochick, who was the former Associate Membership Chairman on the WVCA Board of Directors and Rish Equipment (retired) president will be honored as the 2013 winner of the Lorenelle White Lifetime Achievement Award winner in Who’s Who in West Virginia Business. The 12th Regional WV CEDAR Coal Fair will be held April 28 – May 4 at the Harless Community Center in Gilbert WV. On Wednesday, April 17 at 11:30 a.m. in the Governor’s Reception Room, Governor Tomblin will be presenting CEDAR with a Coal Education Proclamation declaring the week as Coal Education Week in West Virginia. The 2013 Friends of Coal Auto Fair is set for July 19-21st at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex in Beckley, WV. More than 50,000 people from all over the country are expected throughout the weekend to take in the car show, carnival rides, live music, special performance, surprise guests and festival food.
