Speaker Thompson Urges EPA to Speed Up Process

Last month, Speaker of the House of Delegates Rick Thompson called for the EPA to speed up the permitting process in West Virginia and to remove the uncertainty and ambiguity.  Last week, on state-wide radio and in the Williamson daily paper, State Senate Majority Leader Truman Chafin called for those who supported the current administration in the last election to step forward and insist on help in the permitting process for new coal mining operations in West Virginia.
